BIOEMIT is a cross-disciplinary research project covering bioethics, bioinformatics, biotechnology and biomedicine. The focus of the project is on prediction and modification, linked to
  • important basic research areas including medical diagnosis, gene regulation and metabolism,
  • to the development of bioinformatics tools for these research areas,
  • and to research on bioethical implications of such investigations.

This cross-disciplinary research project is concentrated around the scientific research and achievements of seven collaborating research fellows and their respective research groups. Funding is given by NTNU for the period of 2003-2006.
